The Hacienda Hotel & Casino is hosting an inaugural event next Friday and Saturday (Nov. 23rd & 24th) that sounds really fun — a Salsa & Chili Cook-Off!
They’ve been taking registrations for folks to compete and next weekend, you can head down there, do some chili tasting and vote for your favorite chili cook to win the People’s Choice trophy.
The event is from 10am to 3pm both days and the Hacienda Hotel is located down by Lake Mead (just head for Hoover Dam and you can’t miss it). Here’s the flyer for ya:
Update: In light of the Boys & Girls Club of Boulder City having closed, this event will now support Emergency Aid of Boulder City and the Boulder City High School Athletic Dept.
