Second Annual Kids Art Contest Underway

Second Annual Kids Art Contest Underway

The Dawn Lee Agency is hosting the second annual Kids of Boulder City Art Contest for children pre-Kindergarten thru 12th grades. The contest runs until Friday, April 29, 2022. There will be prizes for first and second place in each age group. The age groups are as follows:


  • Pre-Kindergarten

  • Kindergarten thru Second Grade

  • Third Grade thru Fifth Grade

  • Sixth Grade thru Eighth Grade

  • Ninth Grade thru Twelfth Grade


The winners will be decided by community votes and voting will take place from Monday, May 2 to Friday, May 27. The community is invited to stop by 1402 Boulder City Parkway, Suite C after May 2nd to cast their votes for each category. The agency is open from 9:00AM to 5:00PM.

The rules are as follows:


  1. Each participant must choose a theme of animals, scenery or holiday for the entry.

  2. Entries may be created in pencil, crayon, marker, charcoal or watercolor and should be 8.5" x 11" on paper or canvas.

  3. No names or signatures on the front of the art entry. Identifying information will be applied to the back of the entry.

  4. One entry per person with a max of 15 entries per age group (age groups noted above).

  5. Entry must be delivered in person, accompanied by parent/guardian over the age of 18 to 1402 Boulder City Parkway, Suite C.

  6. DEADLINE FOR ENTRY IS FRIDAY, APRIL 29 at 5:00PM.

  7. Entrants or their parent/guardian will be required to sign a release for entry to be used for social media.


Community members are encouraged to visit the office and vote from May 2nd to the 27th. Voting must be done in person. One vote allowed per person, per age group. Invite you friends, family and neighbors to come and vote.

Winners will be announced via Facebook HERE on June 3rd at 3:00PM. Winners will also be notified by telephone. Artwork can be collected during regular hours June 6th thru 17th or call (702) 333-0967 to make other arrangements. Artwork not picked up by June 30th will be disposed of.
