The Senior Center of Boulder City will be hosting a health screening event in conjunction with the Boulder City Lions Club on Saturday, October 19 from 9:00AM to 12:00PM. There will be medical professionals available to offer vision screenings. The Lions Club offers a program to assist the elderly and other limited income individuals obtain eyeglasses if they cannot afford them. The Las Vegas Lions Diabetes Club will also be assisting with foot screenings to check for diabetes complications that may prevent the need for amputations.
No appointments are necessary, but you must be 18 to participate. Please come to the Senior Center, located at 813 Arizona Street for your free health screenings!
