Summer’s over and school is back in session. Families are getting back into routines and working on educational skills. Why not incorporate the Boulder City Library in those routines, and take advantage of the resources the library has to offer? We list some of them below!
The library will be closed on Monday, September 4 in observance of Labor Day and Wednesday, September 27 for Staff Development Day. Otherwise, the regular business hours of the library are Monday through Thursday from 10:00AM to 8:00PM and Friday through Sunday from 10:00AM to 5:00PM.
Ages 0-5 Programs
- Tuesdays at 10:30AM: Toddler Tuesday Storytime: Ages 1-3 and Caregiver, Board Room. Join us for stories, songs, and a coloring sheet.
- Thursdays at 9:30AM: Early Risers Lapsit Storytime: Ages 0-2 and Caregiver, Community Room. Join us for stories and songs.
- Fridays at 10:30AM: Drop In Storytime: Ages 0-5 and Caregiver, Board Room. Join us for stories, songs, and crafts.
- Monday, September 18 at 10:30AM: STEAM Exploration Club for early learners: Ages 1-5 and Caregiver, Board Room. Learn the beginning STEAM Concepts.
Ages 6-11 Programs
- Wednesdays at 3:30PM: Youth Yoga: Community Room. Stretch out and relax with friends.

Ages 12-18 Programs

- Wednesdays at 2:30PM: Teen Yoga: Community Room. Stretch out and relax with friends.
- Fridays September 1 & September 15 at 2:30PM: Roleplayers’ Guild, Community Room. Go on a quest, fight dragons, and loot the villages!
- Wednesdays, September 6 & September 20 at 3:30PM: Roleplayers Guild Rise of Tiamat: Ages 9-14, Board Room. Sign Ups Required.
- Thursday, September 14 at 2:30PM: Teen Volunteer Meeting, Community Room. Learn what it takes to be a teen volunteer at the library and earn an hour of service credit!
Ages 18+
- Tuesdays at 2:30PM: Crochet for A Cause, Board Room.
- Fridays at 1:00PM: Easy Does It Yoga: Ages 18+, Community Room. (Class Canceled on 9/15/23)

- Sunday, September 17 at 2:00PM: Fiber Arts Club: Ages 16+, Community Room. Learn from others and work on your projects with friends.
- Thursday, September 21 at 6:00PM: Crochet Skills Class: Lemon Peel Stitch: Community Room. Sign-Ups required. Class runs 6:00PM to 7:30PM.
- Saturday, September 23 at 11:00AM: Ancestry Club: All Ages, Community Room. Learn from others as you research your family history.
Family Programs
- Wednesday, September 6 at 10:00AM: Immunization Clinic with Southern Nevada Health District: Ages 18+, Community Room.
- Monday, September 11 at 2:00PM: Homeschool Hangout: ages 6+ Community Room. Learn from other Homeschooling families in the community.
- Friday, September 22 at 5:30PM: Family Game Night, Ages 12-18, Community Room. Play games with your friends at this after hours game night.
In addition to the age-appropriate activities above, the library will also host the following community events:

- Monday, September 18 at 10:00AM to 2:00PM: Blood Drive. Ages 18+, Community Room.
