Say…that little stretch of Arizona St. near Hotel Plaza is picking up some steam in these past few months!
Right on the heels of The Dillinger Food & Drinkery opening last month…a new store called Sherman’s House of Antiques opened last week and it’s as fun as it is big. Not only because they’ve got a g-zillion neato things in there – but it’s a maze of corridors and rooms that are all individually themed and excellently appointed! Everywhere you turn, there’s another room of cool stuff…and I’m not even an antique buff, so those that are will go bananas in that place.
Sherman’s House of Antiques is owned by a couple named Sherman and Brenda Wright and Brenda said she’s been selling antiques at Broadacres Marketplace for quite some time (which she’ll still be doing to some extent). I’m thinkin’ she must have been collecting for awhile to be able to fill all those rooms with goodies.
The address is 1228 Arizona Street and they’ll be open 7 days a week – so you can check it out for yourself. Brenda was gracious enough to let me grab some photos for ya though!
