The American Lung Association has been making a strong showing at local Boulder City events through their “Smoke Free Boulder City” campaign, which kicked off a couple of months ago. Perhaps you saw them at the annual Tricky Tray event last month or at Santa’s Picture Day on Saturday (that’s Jingle Cat pictured below from Saturday’s event).
They are working on their goal of reducing second-hand smoke in Boulder City and are quickly getting businesses to endorse them, including Curves, The Craft Cottage, The Big Bash, Experienced Merchandise, Giggles and Glitter and The Coffee Cup, to name a few.
They’ve got a Facebook page — which you can reach by clicking here and you can visit their website for information on smoke-free laws, facts about second-hand smoke and resources on quitting smoking by clicking here!
