Snazzy New Train Tracks Goin’ In on Yucca

Yucca Street Train Track Replacement in Boulder City, NevadaHah – this would be literally going ‘off the rails’ if you were able to ride the train here in Boulder City right now!

Randy Hees, the Nevada State Railroad Museum Director, said that workers are currently unbolting the existing train tracks today and will be replacing the old crossing and track under the street with state of the art concrete road panels.

Because of this, Yucca St. is expected to be closed for a couple of days this week … so far it’s looking like Wednesday and Thursday, but that could change if they encounter any issues. But it will be open again soon with spiffy new hardware – hopefully Friday!
