The Wurst Festival is next Saturday, September 29th from 10AM to 10PM at Bicentennial Park and our mouths are already watering for bratwurst and cold beers!
This year’s live auction items include SEVEN different cars, a 26′ pontoon boat, a Tuffshed, a Nautilus Treadmill, a 1999 Victory VCY Motorcycle Cruiser, a griller/smoker, 4 Box Seat Tickets to an Arizona Cardinals game, a 1 week stay at a luxury home in San Miguel Mexico and a 6-night stay at ANY Fairmont Hotel anywhere in the world! That ought to get you started, right?
New this year, they’ll also have a Cornhole Tournament: registration starts at 9am, and bags fly from 10-4. Plus, don’t forget they expanded the kids zone area, so you can trade off watching the kiddos entertain themselves while you go grab a drink and shop the Silent Auction too!
Food will of course include brats and hot dogs, as well as 8 different other food trucks, so there should be something for everyone. Five different beers will be on tap as well as margaritas, and for the early risers, a limited supply of Bloody Mary’s will be on hand – so drink up!
Remember, it’s always for a great cause to fund Boulder City Sunrise Rotary projects around town, including the most famous alcohol-free All Night Grad Party for the BCHS graduating class.
