Sorry – No Pumpkin Patch This Year…

No Pumpkin Patch For UMC Boulder City, NV

We’re so bummed to report that unfortunately the annual fundraiser Pumpkin Patch held annually at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, in partnership with the BC United Methodist Church has been cancelled for this year.

The supplier for these pumpkins sadly had a catastrophic loss of their 300 acre crop of pumpkins due to an early freeze. And as you can imagine, if you haven’t already purchased and secured delivery of a whole lotta’ pumpkins by now in the season…well, you’re out of luck.

We checked around, and locally you can still get pumpkins at the Hoover Dam Lodge General Store as well as Albertsons. We’re sorry the little’s won’t have that pumpkin patch experience locally this year, and of course for the lost financial fundraising support for these two local churches. Let’s wish them well for next year, and give where we can to help their good works in town, as with all of our church organizations.
