We’re sad to say it, but not at all surprised given the current situation we find ourselves in right now, that the Chamber of Commerce CEO, Jill Lagan, has made the painful decision to cancel this year’s (2020) Spring Jamboree event.
This annual event that happens in Boulder City on the first weekend in May has been a beloved event in town for over 50 years, but concerns over safety have made it impossible to continue staging this event.
Depending upon how things go both with the number of coronavirus cases in our area, and decisions to be made in the future by Governor Sisloak, the Chamber may look at hosting a Wine Walk in either May or possibly June. As more information becomes available, we’ll keep you posted.
