Stacks Sports Cards and Collectibles Set to Open

There’s a new store coming to Boulder City soon and we sat down with owner, Alix Ventre, to learn more about his plans and the cool stuff he’s bringing to Boulder City. The business is called Stacks Sports Cards and Collectibles and it’s going to showcase trading cards and collectibles from anime, to sports, to games, and more!
But first, a little more about Alix. He has owned multiple businesses in the past and had a very successful career in automotive sales. In fact, he got started in the automotive field as a teenager, when he was hired to detail cars. But he had already managed a successful lawn care business at the age of 12! This former Eagle Scout’s future included employment with Saturn, Cadillac, and Findlay Automotive Group, until his recent retirement from that field.
Along the way, Alix had four children: Hailey (26), Brianna (24), Katelyn (21), and Joey (17). He lives here in Boulder City with his fiancée, Jamie. They love this community and they wanted to do something that would be a positive contribution.
He isn’t the type to sit on his hands though so as he looked around for his next opportunity, he began acquiring trading cards for fun. He soon realized that this would be an excellent line of business to partake in because he enjoys the fun of finding, buying, and trading cards. He also likes the learning and research that goes into deciding which trading cards to acquire and he believes it’s a great hobby for adults and children alike, which he can help facilitate.
This business will teach people how to get the cards of their dreams and become part of the card sales and collection network. Card trading is very popular and there are a range of prices for the kids working on a strict budget from allowances to the more lavish purchases made by adults.
He was able to secure a storefront at 1641 Boulder City Parkway in Red Mountain Plaza for his endeavors. When we visited, he was putting together the store layout and working on lighting and the other infrastructure needed to create an awesome environment for buyers and traders.
He plans to be open seven days a week initially and regularly host trade nights and game nights too! There will be live gaming and he already had Golden Tee and NBA Jam consoles in the store when we visited. There will also be multiple televisions and areas for relaxed conversation and discussions. A small snack bar will be available as well.
The Grand Opening for Stacks Sports Cards and Collectibles will be Saturday, September 12. Follow them on Facebook HERE, Instagram HERE, and TikTok HERE to stay up to date on what’s happening. And make sure you come out and support Alix and his new business!
