Students, Teachers and Staff Back in the Classroom

Today is the first day of school for hundreds of Boulder City students, their teachers, and staff at all four Clark County schools. School is also in session at Grace Academy and EmpowerEd Leaders. Of course, with the return to school is the return to traffic school zones in the areas of Andrew J Mitchell ES, Martha P King ES, Elton and Madeleine Garrett MS and Boulder City HS. Watch out for kiddos around the schools, especially between 7:15AM and 3:30PM, since many are making their way to school around this time. Drivers must obey traffic control signals in the area and are also reminded that U-turns are prohibited in school zones.

There will be crossing guards present at major crossing areas and drivers should be aware of these adults as well.

We are looking forward to a fun and exciting school year for all! Let's all be safe out there!
