Sweet Treat from the Past

Our friend, Ron Martin, sent us this sweet reminder of times past here in Boulder City. Some long time residents may remember the Theatre Sweet Shop located next to the historic Boulder Theatre. This was a gathering place for people attending the films being shown next door. This card for the business seems pretty non-descript until you flip it over: several matchsticks are affixed! if you have a chance, go over to the Boulder City/Hoover Dam Museum online archives to see some pictures of the restaurant.
