The Friends of the Library invite the community to participate in the Taste of Library scavenger hunt. The fun begins on Saturday, January 28 at 11:00AM, when the scavenger hunt begins. All adults must preregister for the event by this Saturday (January 21). The cost is $5. Registration should be completed online HERE.
On the 28th, registrants will check-in at Boulder City Library between 11:00AM and 4:00PM to receive a clue card. Using the card, registrants will visit several local eateries to find hidden books. There are five restaurants participating in the hunt and they are all within walking distance of one another. Purchases at the restaurants are not required; however the restaurants will have specials related to the scavenger hunt.
Once all five books are collected, the participants will take a photo and send it in online HERE or by scanning the QR Code below (also included in your confirmation email). This will enter the participant into the Grand Prize Raffle: a Desert Adventures 1-day Kayak/Canoe Trip Package for 2! All correct entries must be received by January 28, 2023 at 11:59PM. The winner will be notified on Monday, January 28.
The Friends of the Boulder City Library supports the Boulder City Library and its programs, while building a community of literacy. These events are a way to bring in people into the library, raise funds, and connect our community with local businesses.
