JOB DESCRIPTION:
Join a great team at The Cafe at Hoover Dam. We just opened up three spots on our team — and we're looking for people who bring energy, reliability, and pride in a job well done. If you love serving people, working with your hands, or keeping a busy kitchen running, we want to meet you. No experience? No problem — we train excited candidates who show up ready to learn.

Cashier — $16–$18/hour, depending on experience — plus pooled tips
Be the first friendly face our guests see! You'll run the register, keep the line moving, and make every visitor feel welcome at one of the most visited landmarks in the country.
What helps you shine: Upbeat, friendly personality; basic math skills; POS experience a plus; hospitality or sales experience a plus. No experience? We'll train you if you bring the enthusiasm.

Cook — $16–$18/hour, depending on experience — plus pooled tips
Fuel the hungry crowds coming off the Dam! You'll work the grill and fryer prepping breakfast and lunch favorites in a fast-paced, American-fare kitchen.
What helps you shine: Basic grill and fryer experience; comfortable prepping breakfast and lunch items; able to meet strict health and sanitation requirements. Required: Current Food Handler's Card from the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD).

Janitor / Dining Room Attendant — $16–$18/hour, depending on experience — plus pooled tips
Keep our cafe sparkling and our guests happy! You'll be visible on the floor, interacting with customers, bussing tables, and making sure everything stays clean and welcoming from open to close.
What helps you shine: Genuinely enjoys cleaning and keeping spaces spotless; friendly — comfortable interacting with customers; washing kitchen dishes, sanitizing surfaces; monitoring dining room tables and trash bins; removing trash from the cafe to the larger receptacle; comfortable with heavy cleaning in high-traffic areas. No experience? We'll train you if you bring the enthusiasm.

Good to Know — All Positions:
Location: The Cafe at Hoover Dam — located at Hoover Dam, Boulder City, NV
What We Serve: Full-menu American fare — breakfast and lunch, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Shifts: Breakfast and lunch shifts, generally between 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (varies by position). Full-time and part-time available. Weekend availability is a must.
Transportation: Reliable transportation required
Background Check: This is a government facility — a complete background check is required for all hires. Clearance can take up to 3 weeks, so apply early!
Pay: $16–$18/hour, depending on experience, plus pooled tips (increases your hourly rate)
Benefits: Meal program from day one. After 90 days: 401(k), dental, vision, and PTO.
