The Cicadas Are Making Me Deaf
After watching the brutal murder of a cicada by a bird in my backyard a few days ago (and being morbidly fascinated by it, I'll be honest) - I remembered an interesting article I saw in last week's Las Vegas Review Journal on how we're being invaded right now.
Thought I'd pass it along to ya and include this really close-up photo of what's makin' all that racket! Our local ones aren't quite as colorful, based on the photos in the article...but I couldn't find a photo of one I could legally use.
