Back by popular demand, Duffy Hudson will present his one-man-show about Edgar Allan Poe.
You know, that’s the guy who is considered the inventor of the detective fiction genre (and some say the science fiction genre)…married his 13 year old cousin (when he was 27) and died after being found in someone else’s clothes on the streets of Baltimore (oddly and repeatedly muttering the name “Reynolds”). Oh…and all medical records, including his death certificate, have vanished.
Hmmmm…sounds like something worth checking out on a Monday night instead of reruns of Two and a Half Men!
Mr. Poe will tell his tales of Annabell Lee, The Raven, the Tell-Tale Heart and more. Recommended ages are 12 years and older and the FREE show begins at 7:00pm on Monday, July 11th at the Boulder City Library!
