In addition to the festival itself, they have a number of events around town where you can meet up with staff, volunteers and most importantly, these artists and filmmakers! here is a quick rundown for you of the haps around town – and these are open to anyone with a ticket!
- Coffee with Filmmakers from 8-10am Thursday through Monday. Anyone with a festival badge receives a discount on all food and beverages
- Filmmaker Meet and Greet at Boulder Bowl on Friday from 4-530pm. Bowling and pizza are free. League night prices for adult beverages. Anyone with a ticket or badge can attend.
- Festival Mixer at Beer Zombies on Saturday from 515-715pm. Catered by The Patio. Anyone with a ticket or badge is allowed entry.
The Red carpet awards ceremony at 6pm on Sunday is a separately ticketed event and will sell out so get your tickets early! Watch filmmakers walk the red carpet, see who wins awards, stay for 90 minutes of award winner films and then party at the Boulder Dam Brewery from 930-1130pm. Catered by the Chicken Shack. Anyone with a ticket or badge is welcome!
Tickets are $12.50 for each block of films. One day badges are $45 or $55 depending on the day. 5-day badges are $150. VIP Experiences are selling out fast. They are $300 for one and $500 for two experiences!
And…hot gossip for you that we’re just loving! One of the films this year is an Oscar nominated film! Not only that, but this filmmaker and his new bride met at the 2023 festival! She too is a filmmaker featured at the DSFF and together this duo will be attending all 5 days of the Fest! If you stay turned…we might even get to introduce you to the lovely couple!
