The Life of A Christmas Tree

The holidays must be upon us because the Twin Timbers Christmas Tree Lot is open for the season! This year, they’re located in the former Boulder Boats location at 1495 Nevada Hwy) and they’re open Monday-Thursday from 12noon-8pm, Friday from 12-9, Saturday from 8am-9pm and Sunday from 9am-8pm.

All Twin Timbers trees come from Oregon, which (little known fact) provides 25% of all live Christmas trees enjoyed in the US each year.  And for some other fun facts about Christmas trees – I found this cool 2-minute video about the life of a Christmas tree on the History Channel…it’s pretty interesting, so enjoy!
