Thrify Ice Cream Coming to Boulder City

Chocolate Malted Krunch...that's what I'm talkin' about, Fans!

Fan Rich Shuman gave me the scoop (hah...get it?) that Thrifty Ice Cream has just signed a lease to open an ice cream shop in the Vons Shopping Center.

We grew up on the stuff and last I knew, Thrifty ice cream was only sold through Rite Aid Drug Stores (after they bought out Thrifty Drug Stores in 1996), but frankly, I had no idea that they had actual free-standing ice cream stores.

There is, in fact, a Thrifty Ice Cream Shop in Henderson...they have a Facebook page that has some photos on it so you can see what it looks like...just click here.

We don't have a Grand Opening date yet...but believe you me -- I'll let you know as soon as I know!  LOVE me some Chocolate Malted Krunch!!!!
