Time Sensitive: Special Assistance For Veterans Thru August 9th

VA Burn Pits Boulder City, NV

Were you a Combat Veteran or do you know one? If so, please make note of this particular program being made available via the Veterans Administration (VA) for a limited time – but that window is closing soon.

The PACT Act was created to specifically:

  • Expands and extends eligibility for VA health care for Veterans with toxic exposures
and Veterans of the Vietnam era, Gulf War era, and Post-9/11 era.

  • Expands eligibility for benefits for Veterans exposed to toxic substances.

This means that a soldier who was exposed to substances such as agent orange or other toxins from burn pits and other chemicals can apply to receive benefits and expedite and consolidate the normal VA processing during this window, even if they have been turned down in the past.

But the window for filing under these specific procedures closes soon.

Even if a soldier does not yet show any potential symptoms, they can contact the VA and notify them of their “Intent to File”, but that must happen before the end of August 9th, 2023.

All information can be found on the VA’s website HERE. OR, Veterans are encouraged to contact the closest VA Center in Henderson at the Main Location:

400 North Stephanie Street
Suite 180
Henderson, NV 89014
Direct line: 702-791-9100
Hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm

Below are a series of screen shots further explaining who may now qualify - you'll see that these dates of active service go back decades, as well as a list of the types of medical complications these veterans have been facing.

This is not a Boulder City story - it is a human one. But with the number of veterans that live here, who have served their country valiantly in the past and who deserve the BEST care that can be provided - we wanted to get the word out quickly on this fast approaching deadline. We only ourselves just learned that this program had been created - and we're grateful.

Spread the word please folks and lets make sure that any and all who deserve this care have the opportunity to receive it.
