Tom Devlin’s Nightmare at the Museum is a Scream!

Once again, Tom Devlin’s annual Halloween Haunted House Experience will provide a seriously scary tour for those who love a good fright! The king of gory costume design strikes again this year, as patrons will be handed a flashlight to walk through the museum. You never know which of their monsters might come to life! Head out to 1310 Boulder City Parkway to check it out.

We attempted a walk through, and frankly didn’t make it that far…and had to turn back. (Yes, we are wimps….)

But, if you also just want to visit and take in the memorabilia and other treasures, you really should stop by. it’s a great place to buy a gift for any classic movie buff (stocking stuffers?….) .They now have an arcade room with classic games such as PacMan and a few pinball machines that made us wistful for a roll of quarters and a free afternoon with nothing but a Coke and a few hours to kill.

But, in other news…

They filmed a movie in their haunted house during the 2021 season called Teddy Told Me To. It’s based on a character Tom created when he was on the SyFy channel show “Face Off”. It’s streaming, beginning October 10th on Amazon, Google Play, and DirecTV among others! They also have BluRays available online and in their store! Here’s a synopsis:

When Danny and Zoe (Topher Hansson and Kamarra Cole) decide to buy an old defunct haunted attraction, they think they’ll just have fun and make some money. After meeting with the realtor Jan (Lisa Wilcox, Nightmare on Elm St 4 & 5), and the groundskeeper Ron (CJ Graham, Friday the 13th VI), they learn that the property has a bloody past. They audition and hire a full cast of haunt actors who work together to bring the old haunt back from the dead. Ron’s brother Eric (Michael Shields) creeps the gang out with his telling of a family tragedy (Felissa Rose, Sleepaway Camp, and Trent Haaga, Killjoy 3), the origin of the bear masked killer “Teddy” (Jason Wallace), and the first murder to take place in the haunt (Warrington Gillette, Friday the 13th Part II). On opening night, the haunters and the crowd don’t stand a chance as Teddy returns to his old stomping ground for more blood!
