Sounds like a singles ad, I know…but nope…it’s Adoptable Pet Day for June! Meet Wally and WTC (which creatively stands for “Wally’s Traveling Companion”)…both of whom were apparently abandoned at Lake Mead before being rescued by the Park Service and brought to the shelter.
Wally (on top) is a 6 year old, neutered German Shepherd mix who is wonderful with everyone. Wally is completely housebroken and does not mark his territory. We know this because his original owner was located through the micro-chip he has in place. Uh-huh.
On the bottom is Wally’s wingman, WTC (who doesn’t have a chip – so this is an educated guess) appears to be a German Shepherd/Chow mix, approx. 8 years old. He is a bit more shy than Wally, but quick to warm up. He is also neutered and from his time at the shelter, also appears to be completely housebroken and does not mark his territory.
If you’d like to come and visit Wally & WTC to consider loading ’em up with love – stop by the Animal Shelter at 810 Yucca Street (they’re open from 10am – 4pm for adoptions every day except Sunday)!
