United Methodist Church Hosts Annual Pet Blessing

The Reverend Kimber Govett of the Boulder City United Methodist Church will be on hand on Saturday, October 29 to bless your pets at Wilbur Square Park. This free event takes place from 8:00AM to 11:00AM. Community members should bring their pets on leashes and/or in appropriate pet carriers for safety.

Pet Blessings are a tradition in many churches during the month of October in honor of Saint Francis of Assisi, who blessed animals and cared for all creation.
