There are two events coming up that will honor those who serve and have served, whether it’s our community or our country – here’s a little information about both of them and an open invitation to come and say thanks!
Friday, September 9th at 5:00pm
Military and First Responders Appreciation Night
The Boulder City Eagles are paying tribute to the men and women of the Armed Services and First Responders at their 7:00pm football game. All military (active, retired, reserve, & veteran) and First Responders (police, fire, EMS & dispatch) will receive FREE admission to the football game, as well as to the 5:00pm BBQ that will immediately precede the game at the Boulder City High School football field.
Saturday, September 17th at 1:00pm
1st Annual Hero & First Responder Appreciation Day
Members of the Boulder City community will host this inaugural event in Escalante Park from 1:00pm – 4:00pm to honor our hometown heroes with Fox Smokehouse BBQ serving up their delicious ‘que. Tables will be set up for the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), Trauma Intervention Program (TIP), Officerdown.us, and the Honor Guard; the National Anthem will be sung by Bailey Aginiga; an opening prayer will be done by Pastor Kevin Dolbee of Christian Center Church; music will be provided my DJ Mike Pacini and there will be a Hero Raffle with prizes donated by members of the community, as well as lots of fun activities for kids.
So head on out to either or both events to join the community in showing your appreciation!
