Ranger Program:  Hummingbirds: Magical Creatures, Nov 18

Join a ranger and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service volunteers Ned and Gigi at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Nov. 18 at the Lake Mead Visitor Center. They will share the research they have been gathering about hummingbirds at Lake Mead National Recreation Area and will discuss the migratory patterns of the birds. BBSC Turkey Trot, Nov 23

Around 1,000 athletes will race through Lake Mead National Recreation Area Nov. 23 along the Historic Railroad and River Mountains Loop trails for the annual Turkey Trot.
