If you are a car show lover or history buff, here is something interesting to do on Saturday…the Austin Bantam Society, an international car club dedicated to the Austin and Bantam marques, will hold its 45th annual Trophy Meet in Boulder City this coming weekend.
The 1930s-vintage American Austins and Bantams, derivatives of the venerable British Austin Seven, will be on display to the public on Saturday, October 26th, 2013 from 10am to 3pm in Wilbur Square.
The club previously held its meet in Boulder City in 2008. “Our cars were built in the ’30s, which means they were born roughly of the same period and conditions as the Hoover Dam and Boulder City,” organizer Mark Richey said. “Our members like to see the historic context of that era.”
