A Virtual Hike at Lake Mead’s Historic Railroad Trail

Last week was the 50th year of the creation of the National Trail System. At Lake Mead, they celebrated by creating this super interesting virtual tour of the Historic Railroad Trail. We’ve hiked it many times, but this is very much worth the 8 minutes of viewing time! It’s got some fabulous historical photos of the dam building era as well as lots of great info on the wildlife and plants you see in the surrounding area.
