Last weekend we got a real treat…
A good friend of ours arranged a visit to the Railway Museum here in Boulder City at 601 Yucca Street. And we have to say after our visit, we’ve got a bit of a crush on this place!
They’ve got a lot of great different programs that you can see on their Web Site, that we didn’t know about:
- Did you know you can take a ride in the Engine Car or the Caboose with its dome view above?
- They also rent out the cars for special events, birthday’s, anniversaries and others.
- Adults can even be an Engineer For An Hour and drive the train (with a bit of help…advance reservations needed, cost $250.)
We loved our ride with Train Engineers Chuck and Steve! There’s a LOT going on there at the museum in the coming months, (got an event calendar here) so be sure to look for more posts from us on that!
