WANTED: Volunteers for Boulder City Police Department
The Boulder City Police Department is on the lookout for community volunteers! You can help "enhance police services, enabling police officers to respond more effectively to enforcement and policing priorities". What positions are available? Well, there are several types of volunteers for both field and office (in-station) work. These include:
  • Business patrol
  • Emergency callouts
  • Handicapped parking enforcement
  • Neighborhood patrol
  • Neighborhood speed watch
  • Special events
  • Vacation home checks
  • VIN inspections
  • Other non-hazardous duties as assigned
In order to become a volunteer, you must be available to volunteer on workdays, must be at least eighteen years old, have a valid Nevada Driver License, satisfactory driving record, and no felony convictions.
