Saw on the news that the contract was awarded for the “Boulder City Bypass” portion of the Interstate 11 project – but I wanted to know which part that actually WAS, so I dug it up for us.
This first phase of construction, set to begin in May, is the continuous four-lane divided highway that breaks off near Railroad pass rather than making that left curve into Boulder City. It will take drivers straight out (about 2.5 miles) to the Silverline Road area, so think of it as the ‘Railroad Pass Interchange’.
I didn’t know where Silverline Road was, so I was glad they provided an artistic rendering of the project (once it’s completed), which you can view by CLICKING HERE.
