This Saturday, December 16th, the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, located here in Boulder City, will be participating in “Wreaths Across America”, an annual event where wreaths are placed on the graves of Veterans to honor them for their service. The ceremony will begin at 9 am and volunteers are welcome to attend.
The event takes place at Arlington National Cemetery and locations across the United States. If you would like to volunteer, give a donation to sponsor a wreath, or want more information visit the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery page HERE.
What’s more, if you decide to sponsor a wreath you can do so in the name of a loved veteran who is currently serving, or in the name of a veteran who has passed. You can even make a personal donation to an existing grave marker at a participating Veterans Cemetery location. Wreath donations costs start at $15.00.
