Wreaths Across America in Boulder City

Wreaths Across America in Boulder City, NevadaDid you know that 3,379 wreaths (so far) will be placed on the graves of vets at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, December 17th (2016)? It would actually take a whopping 33,001 to place wreaths on all of the graves and a few dedicated groups have been participating in a drive to raise money and get wreaths donated through the Wreaths Across America program.

If you’d like to support and/or participate in this program, you can donate a wreath (at a cost of $15) or help lay them on veterans’ graves on the 17th. All of the information you’ll need to do either can be found by CLICKING HERE and then typing ‘89005’ for the zip code.

You can either donate directly (red button on the top right) or scroll down and see the list of groups working toward their goals so you can donate through one of them to show your support. FYI – Looks like Boulder City Republican Women is participating in the “buy 2, get 3” plan meaning that they’ll donate a wreath for every 2 purchased.
