We often hear frustration from residents when the City undertakes a project or plan and the residents feel bypassed by the process. Fortunately, Boulder City has offered opportunities for the residents and business owners here to add their $0.02. The City is currently updating its Strategic Plan and they are asking those who are affected (which is all of us, really) to complete a brief survey about what things are important to the community.
The City did a similar outreach the last time the Strategic Plan was updated in 2018. Workshops and discussions were held and the results helped create Boulder City’s Strategic Plan in 2018. “The City issued surveys, and staff engaged with the public in workshops. The plan set the course for the City’s sustainability and economic resilience tactics for 2020 through 2025,” said City Manager Taylour Tedder. “In April 2023, the City completed 40 action items ahead of schedule, and I look forward to
engaging the community to develop a new strategic plan for 2025-2030.”
To participate in the survey click HERE. Responses will be anonymous. For residents and business owners who prefer an offline option, visit the City Clerk’s office Monday thru Thursday from 7:00AM to 5:00PM. The survey will close on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 5:00PM. Survey results will be compiled and analyzed and presented at a future City Council meeting.
