If you haven’t yet been to the Angora Nativity house this season, head on over there some evening. Located at 1296 Lynwood Street, come see what’s new this year.
Rich Angora has been creating this hand crafted nativity scene since he took over from his father about 25 years ago. The tradition started when he was just a boy in Brooklyn, NY in 1956! Each year, he has adjusted the scene slightly, adding new members and features. There are so many details to take in, and the quiet background sounds are soothing and lends a meditative feel to the exhibit. You can’t leave without having your spirit refreshed for the season!
Rich will be available most nights to talk with visitors to his home and he can describe the craftsmanship and time that goes into the display each year. His care for each feature is something to behold, and he loves having people come by to see it. This is one of those special holiday events you have to see to believe.
You’ll find it also in the #2 spot on our Holiday Lights listing HERE. You can add your own holiday lights display by clicking HERE.
