Check Out at the Library: Big Basement Book Sale

The Boulder City Friends of the Library (we told you about them HERE) are hosting their fall Big Basement Book Sale this weekend. The sale begins at 10:00AM on Friday, September 12 and is open to the public. Come and pick up books, games, puzzles, and more and take a look at the items available for the Silent Auction. Proceeds from the auction will be used to further the objectives of the BCFOTL: a group of volunteers who work together to support the Library and literacy in our community. The organization is a 501(c)3 non-profit. They have no paid positions or employees and are supported 100% by volunteer service.
This is their mission statement:
"The purpose of the Boulder City Friends of the Library shall be to promote an interest in the Library among the community that it’s serving, supports the services and programs of the Boulder City Library, and assists in bringing resources to meet the needs of the community. The Boulder City Friends of the Library is organized solely for education and charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)3 of the IRS code."
Join in supporting the group by buying some really great treasures this weekend! The Boulder City Library is located at 701 Adams Boulevard. The sale takes place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, September 12 through 14, from 10:00AM to 4:00PM all days. Please utilize the parking on the east side of the library to access the basement sale.
