Last Saturday we were invited to join the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution for their formal meeting where they bestowed their Women in American History award to Connie Ferraro.
A local treasure, Connie is known to most of us in town for her artwork. She has done countless murals around town, designed the frieze on the BCHS outdoor mural, Martha P. King’s new wall art, and was recently featured on Outdoor Nevada.
She’s also known as the former very first, first lady of Boulder City. We’re thrilled to see this lovely lady recognized for her work in our town that is certain to give us a legacy of art that we will enjoy forever.
Thank you so much to the local DAR Chapter, it’s Regent, Roberta Ohlinger and Nevada State Regent Cindy Bell for recognizing such a wonderful lady. Congratulations Connie!
