Here is the rundown of where to go and be part of this festivities this year:
- Pancake Breakfast: The Rotary Club of Boulder City will hold their annual Pancake Breakfast in Bicentennial Park, 1100 Colorado Street, 7:00AM to 9:00AM. Start the day off right with yummy pancakes
- Parade Flyover: The flyover starts at 9:00AM with the Boulder City Veterans’ Flying Group flyover down Nevada Way. We told you about them HERE.
- Damboree Parade: The parade commences immediately after the flyover. The route begins at Colorado Street and continues south on Nevada Way; turns left on Fifth Street and finishes in Broadbent Park. WATER TRUCKS AND WATER BALLOONS ARE PROHIBITED. Various organizations and vendors will be selling food and beverages in Broadbent Park.
- Coin Toss: The Boulder City Pool hosts the Coin Toss starting at 11:00AM. Entry is the same as admission to the pool. Parents or guardians must fill out a release of liability form for the child to enter the pool without them. Children eight years or younger must have someone 14 years or older with them at the pool. If the child under eight years old is a non-swimmer, the person older than 14 must be in the water with them within arm’s length.
- Festivities and Fireworks: The fun will continue at Veteran’s Memorial Park, 1650 Buchanan Blvd. from 4:00PM to 10:00PM. Entry is $20 per vehicle. Food, music and games will be available. The fireworks show begins at 9:00PM.
