Boulder City Sunrise Rotary wants your car!
That’s right – they reached out to us to remind all of you that their annual Wurst Festival event which happens every year on the last Saturday in September always auctions off a variety of used and well-loved vehicles as a key part of their Live Auction which is the only fundraiser of the year for the club.
For those who buy at this event, it’s a great way to replace the old clunker in your family or maybe get your teenager their first car. Many parents actively watch the auction book when this event comes around for that specific purpose. You know that you’re getting a vehicle that has been inspected and thoroughly detailed and ready for a new home.
For those who donate, it’s a great way to get the write-off for donating a vehicle and know that you’re keeping the benefits in Boulder City. Buy Local! That’s what we always say – so why not Donate Local too! Oh – they will take bikes, e-Bikes, motorcycles, boats, ATV’s and other large valuables too!
Wurst Festival is the fun day that does a lot of good in the community. Not only does the Boulder City Sunrise Rotary fund the Annual Drug and Alcohol Free Grad Night Party, they also fund many other local charities including the Drug Court, Lend a Hand, Emergency Aid, Senior Center of Boulder City, Meals on Wheels and many other organizations.
