All we can say is ‘Yowza!’ to the amount of progress that they’ve made on the new 7-Eleven location on the corner of Boulder City Parkway and Buchanan Boulevard. We told you HERE back in December when they began construction on this project about the current understanding of what, and how this all came to be.
We must say we’ve been astonished at how quick this building went up. They are mostly done with all exterior construction, with the exception of putting in the gas pumps, which will go onto that remaining dirt patch in front. The interior when you peek inside is also done, (at least the basics) and looks to be about ready to receive merchandise. But, I’m a mere layperson, so I could be incorrect on that point…
Since we’d originally heard an opening date of sometime in 2021, we reached back out to the owners of the Nevada Way 7-Eleven store, Tom and Amy Carvalho for an update. They tell us there is no change beyond early in 2021 as planned. So, it sure looks nicer than a vacant lot, but as to who eventually moves in there, and when, we’ll all have to just keep watching and waiting.
