What do we say about Grant Turner? He’s brought us The Dillinger, The Tap, Forge Social House and now…his passion project The Skinny Bar! We told you about this last year, after he had acquired the former Back in Thyme location at 524 Nevada Way. Located in between the World Famous Coffee Cup and Grandma Daisy’s, we know this will be another smashing fun location downtown!
Grant had a small event on New Year’s Eve to test out the acoustics on the place, and he has the whole thing designed to be a friendly and posh place to listen and enjoy live music, and just hang out. He wouldn’t let us do a full feature display just yet, but we’ll say, the place is GORGEOUS inside and we can’t wait to enjoy it!
Look for word on some ‘soft opening’s later this month with the plan to be full-throttle by sometime in February. You can stay tuned on the Instagram HERE.
