The Bighorn Sheep who come to town for several months each year really are our favorite visitors, (no offense intended towards our human ones). We’ve had fewer babies these past years, unfortunately due to the known pneumonia illness plaguing bighorn sheep throughout the southwest, but this year we’ve seen a lot of sheep in town, and it always brings a smile!
Thanks to Fan Joseph Gonzalez for sending us this snap of them visiting someone’s front lawn in his neighborhood. Enjoy the snack guys, as we know soon they’ll likely head back up into the mountains during the winter months.
