Most of you are aware of the fact that the isolation created by the pandemic has majorly affected the lives of our senior, adult population, especially those who reside in nursing home/assisted living situations. We also know that sadly, several of our heroes residing at the Southern Nevada State Veterans Home have succumbed to the coronavirus.
But there IS something that you can do – volunteer to be a remote HERO for our local veterans. When you volunteer, you’ll be giving some basic guidelines and remotely interact with one or several folks – and even an hour a week will make a HUGE difference in these peoples lives!
