Albertsons emailed me to ask if I knew of a coupon exchange or club in town that they could help support and I told him that although I knew a coupon exchange box used to be available at the Boulder City Library, I didn’t know if it still existed.
When I asked what they were up to, they said that they’re working on putting together an in-store coupon exchange where Albertsons customers could drop unused coupons into a box and Albertsons willl sort them for customers to pick up and use. He said they might even separate them by aisle or product groups and even get a club together. I’m diggin’ ALL those ideas and think it’s awesome that they’re working to figure out how BC residents can save money.
If you are interested in the coupon exchange idea, helping them start a club and have any input or suggestions – Albertsons said they’d love to hear from you. Just call the store at (702) 293-7611 and ask for Tom Ringer (he’s one of the managers) or you can email him directly by clicking here.
BTW, an aggregate total of between 3 and 3.4 billion dollars a year is saved by Americans who use coupons…at least, that’s what the President/CEO of the www.coupons.com said in December of 2010. Yikes. That’s a nice chunk of change right there.
