Chocolate Malted Krunch…that’s what I’m talkin’ about, Fans!
Fan Rich Shuman gave me the scoop (hah…get it?) that Thrifty Ice Cream has just signed a lease to open an ice cream shop in the Vons Shopping Center.
We grew up on the stuff and last I knew, Thrifty ice cream was only sold through Rite Aid Drug Stores (after they bought out Thrifty Drug Stores in 1996), but frankly, I had no idea that they had actual free-standing ice cream stores.
There is, in fact, a Thrifty Ice Cream Shop in Henderson…they have a Facebook page that has some photos on it so you can see what it looks like…just click here.
We don’t have a Grand Opening date yet…but believe you me — I’ll let you know as soon as I know! LOVE me some Chocolate Malted Krunch!!!!
