Let’s do a Throwback Thursday! In preparation for our upcoming yard sale, we’ve gone through every cubby in the house and found these little treasures…they’re plastic bags for Boulder City recyclables!
I’m told the roll of bags distributed was all green except for the last one, which was red…the idea being that you use all the green bags up and when you get to your last bag (red), that’s what told the collection dudes to leave you a new roll of bags. Pretty logical system and perhaps the start of the recycling efforts in BC!
But there was even a step in between these and the bins we have now…remember the different colored crates? We still have ours!
