We hadn’t either, (or maybe we just need to plan a kayaking trip), but if you’re at all interested in exploring these awesome waterways of the Colorado River in Nevada and Arizona, we’ve found this great resource for you!

There’s great information on everything you need to plan a trip: resources, outfitters, maps and pretty much anything you need to know before taking a day trip and exploring the river. You’ll also learn about all the work they put in to maintain these lovely resources for all of us!
They have even created a waterproof map that we’re told is available for purchase at several locations: Lake Mead Recreational Center, the Chamber of Commerce office and the Desert Adventure Office.
(We like that idea, as we’re not the kind of folks who are real skilled at staying dry out there….)
