At Tuesday’s City Council meeting, recently elected City Council members, Sherri Jorgensen and Matt Fox were sworn in. The oath of office was given by Tami McKay, City Clerk. Mrs. Jorgensen and Mr. Fox were both elected earlier this year. After signing their oaths, both immediately assumed their duties for the Tuesday night City Council meeting. We wish them all the best as they represent the voters of the city.
In related news, City Council meetings will be vacated until August 10, 2021. The City Council Chambers will be undergoing renovations to make City Hall more compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
