One of our favorite local traditions in town is to take an evening ride with Santa and all his crew out at the Nevada Southern Railway! This year it’s back in all its festive glory starting November 25th and tickets are on sale NOW! (Don’t wait – these are almost always a sellout!) You can purchase from their website HERE.
Each event includes a 20-minute train ride in a vintage, restored railcar with Storytime, and time in their event center to visit Santa and enjoy hot chocolate and a cookie, by Chilly Jilly’z. Santa’s Railyard event center includes photos for purchase by DCI Photo, and food for purchase by Chilly Jilly’z.
Prices vary depending on class of service and rail car chosen. Children (1 to 12 have reduced-price seats [as usual, lap children up to 1 year are free]). Their events are fundraisers supporting the State Railroad Museum. All of the rest of the details and ride times are on their website and the flyer below.
