You may have noticed some new signs at the former Pizza Hut at 1208 Boulder City Parkway. Huevos Avenue has come to town and they’ve brought some Mexican flavor to breakfast, lunch, and soon-to-be brunch! They’ve been open for about six weeks now and based on the reviews from the happy customers, they will be a popular spot for a delicious bite to eat. The restaurant, open daily from 7:00AM to 3:00PM offers in person dining, take out food, and delivery via UberEats, DoorDash, and GrubHub soon.
Owners Jennifer Gandarilla and Alex Villasenor bring with them years of restaurant experience. They had wanted to open a restaurant for a while and scouted locations in Henderson and Las Vegas for more than a year, before settling on the Boulder City property. They are happy to be located here and have settled in nicely, serving up a huge menu of delicious eats. On our recent visit, they’d completed an order for one of the local schools for Teacher Appreciation Week.
They recently obtained their new liquor license so you can expect some wonderful brunch options on the weekend, like beer, Bloody Marys, and mimosas. Some of their more popular menu items include whole wheat pancakes with almonds and walnuts, Belgian style waffles, French toast, country fried steak and Eggs Benedict. They also offer some Mexican style breakfasts like chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and fish tacos. Their coffee is delicious and we can vouch for the incredible fruit filled crepes…they were to die for!!
